The reference board equipped with the ESP32-S3 chip supports Wi-Fi 6 and BLE 5.0 by default and enables long-term operation through OTA firmware updates. Onboard interfaces such as RS-485 (Modbus RTU), CAN, I²C, SPI, GPIO, and ADC allow easy connection of external sensors, and optional expansion modules for 4G/LTE Cat-M1, NB-IoT, PoE, and LoRaWAN are available. FreeRTOS and Arduino example code, along with auto-provisioning scripts, are provided so that even developers without hardware design experience can quickly complete their products.
Special Features for PLC Connectivity
Built-in OPC UA and Modbus TCP drivers enable real-time collection and control of PLC data in factory automation facilities.
