Model
Represents the type of device. Example: DMIC-50M, v1.0.0
- Model information is an important identifier that distinguishes the hardware and software versions of a product.
- Typically includes the product name and version number, and determines the product’s features and compatibility.
- Users should refer to the model information when configuring devices or requesting support.
You can manage update files differently for each model.
- Each model has unique hardware configurations and features, requiring dedicated firmware.
- Installing an update file for the wrong model may cause malfunction or damage.
- The system automatically checks the device model and only provides compatible updates.
- Update history and changes for each device model can be easily tracked.
Each model provides an MDL (Model Description Language) that declares what functions it can perform. See this document for more details.
